Something for every millennial™. While many agencies, organizations, and companies attempt to create a “profile” of millennials, we recognize that our millennial network is chock full of diversity. Member needs, interests, goals, and passions are all very different. That’s why we’ve developed programming that reflects the unique desires of our group. At any point in time, you’ll find us planning the next Lip Sync Battle, coordinating a discussion with elected officials, or facilitating a workshop for political aspirants. If members of our Millennial Network notice any gaps in our programming, feel free to make a suggestion. Just remember our philosophy: If you dream it, you lead it.
MillenniChats – A millennichat is a small pow wow between members of our organization and local influencers in politics, economic and community development, or entertainment. Though our membership exceeds 1500 young people, we limit discussions to approximately 30 audience participants and 1-2 leaders who are well-versed on the topic. Registration opens for each millennichat approximately ten days before the event date and closes when all seats are reserved. Attendees are required to attend or cancel their registration 24 hours before a millennichat. Because of limited seating, we take “No Shows” very seriously. No Shows and late cancellations are not allowed to register for future millennichats as a courtesy to other members of our Millennial Network.
M-PAC Fellowship For Emerging Political Leaders – The M-PAC Fellowship is a 6-month program for political aspirants between the ages of 18 and 35. Successful completion of the program involves rigorous classroom and experiential learning that will prepare graduates for more advanced preparation as a candidate for elected office, appointed public service, political campaign management, or grassroots organizing. Applications to join the 2017 class will become available on 1/31.
Memphis In May BBQ Fest – Mark your calendar for this year’s Memphis In May Festival, which will salute the wonderful nation of Colombia. We’ll have a very special celebration for you at the BBQ Festival and Cooking Contest. May 17-20, 2017.
Our corporate partners and Millennial 100™ members make it possible for us to engage and support every millennial in Memphis. If your organization is interested in serving as a Millennials For Memphis partner, please visit our Partners page.
